J:

-- A punk with guns. The Punisher puts him in his place. (GR2 5).

Jackal Gang, The:

-- A gang of toughs who highjack semis on isolated roads late at night. Know members: Nate, Jimmy (I), Pete (II), Lenny, Fred (I) and Ernie (I).

-- They are stopped in the midst of a highjacking by Ghost Rider (I). They flee - but two of them (Fred (I) and Ernie (I)) die in the escape attempt. The others get away. (GR1 41).

-- Later, Ghost Rider (I) finds the rest of them pulling another heist and he chases Jimmy (I) and Pete (II), who get a dose of Hellfire. The next night, Ghost Rider (I) tracks them down to their HQ and gives them all a dose of Hellfire. (GR1 42).

Jason:

-- A baby kidnapped by some renegade and misled Morlocks. (GR2 4).

Jenkins, Timmy:

-- Back in the wild west days, this boy was caught in a fire. Blaze saved him. (What was Blaze doing back then? See The Night Rider for details). (GR1 50).

Jensen, Dude (Duke):

-- (see also Roulette). A Stock Car promoter, and a demon in disguise.

-- Hires Blaze in return for getting the law to drop all charges. However, Roxanne Simpson realizes that the Attorney General is after Dude and is using Blaze to get at him. Dude has an assistant kill Red Thompson, but Ghost Rider (I) kills the assistant after he performs the deed. Roxanne Simpson overheard this arrangement, so they capture her. (TOGR 12).

-- His name suddenly changes to "Duke" Jensen. When his assistant barges in to warn him that the Attorney General has set the cops on them, he transforms himself and his assistant into demons. They set fire to the place where Roxanne Simpson is tied up and leave. His name as a demon is Roulette. Apparently, he had some bad luck at several casinos and was killed by six unscrupulous owners. (TOGR 13).

Jeremy:

-- A seven foot tall freakish looking worker at the Quentin Carnival.

-- Freakmaster decides he wants to have Jeremy for some unknown reason and asks Mr. Renaldo to go acquire him. After being kidnapped by Renaldo and several 'freaks, Jeremy is recused by Ghost Rider (I), but he tells Blaze that after talking with the other "freaks" he would rather go with them than stay at the Quentin Carnival. (TOGRRA 2).

Jerry (I):

-- A criminal (with cohorts Al, Paul and Porter) pursued by Ghost Rider (I). He and Porter get a dose of Hellfire. (GR1 43).

Jerry (II):

-- Passing cop who saves Blaze from Raz and Zooie. He lets prostitute Amy II take Blaze home, deciding he can "run her in for loitering some other night." (GR1 47).

Jerry (III):

-- The man who fires the start gun at the "Shelbyville 100 Mile Enduro-classic" Motorcycle race. (GR1 52).

Jerry (IV):

-- One of the many, many cops who have nothing better to do than chase Ghost Rider (I) around for speeding and reckless driving. (GR1 63).

Jesse:

-- Deputy who saves Blaze from a lynch mob. (GR1 48).

Jimmy (I):

-- A member of The Jackal Gang. He gets a nice dose of Hellfire. (GR1 42).

Jimmy (II):

-- A cop who has a run-in with Ghost Rider (II) right after his rebirth. (GR2 1).

Joe (I):

-- A criminal (with cohorts Jerry (I), Paul, Al (II) and Porter) pursued by Ghost Rider (I). He, Al (II) and Paul escape into a farmhouse, where Azaziah, the Crimson Mage enlists them in his plan to defeat ol' skull head. At their next caper, they lead Ghost Rider (I) into a mystical trap, where Blaze and the demon are separated. (GR1 43).

-- After that adventure is settled, Ghost Rider (I) tracks all three of them down and gives them a taste of Hellfire. (GR1 45).

Joe (II):

-- Worker for Ed Pollard who plans to blow up the dam they are working on so they can loot the nearby town. He, Benny and Ed are killed by their own explosion when Ghost Rider (I) attempts to stop them. (GR1 49).

-- Except that after his trip to the past, Blaze returns to the future 10 minutes before the dam blew up, allowing him to stop the explosion in time. Thus Joe (II) lives, but he gets a nice dose of soul searing Hellfire. (GR1 50).

Joe (III):

-- Man who works for Ron Williamson and helped plant the bomb intended to blow up an L track. (GR1 60).

Joe Louis Arena:

-- Place in Detroit, Michigan where Asmodeus Jones held his final concert. (Def1 96).

Johhny:
-- A member of the Cypress Pool Jokers.
Jonathan (I):

-- The father of the evil mutant child Nathan. He tells Blaze their story and then realizing Nathan has blocked Blaze's memories of being Ghost Rider (I), he attacks Blaze, forcing the demon to emerge. He then dies in the explosion from the resulting battle. (GR1 34).

Jonathan (II):

-- William Rockwood Jr.'s father. I'm holding off on assuming his last name is Rockwood since usually "jr." suffix means a boy has the same last name as his biological father. (MHS 1).

Jones, Asmodeus:

-- A Heavy metal "devil rocker" who was very popular. His real name was Ozzie Palmer. His manager and brother was Felix D. Palmer.

-- He uses his music to turn his fans into agents of The Six-Fingered Hand. The ultimate goal is for him to eventually merge with a demon called Fashima. He is defeated by The Defenders and Ghost Rider (I) when they trick him into drawing too much power from Fashima and burning out. (Def1 96).

Jones, Jubal:

-- A grave robber who is killed by the Warriors of the Dead. (GR/C 1).
